Christopher holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing, from Stony Brook University, and is a board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has extensive clinical experience and has worked in various psychiatric and mental health care settings, both inpatient and outpatient, seeing patients across the lifespan. Some of the conditions that Christopher treats include (but is not limited to): depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, and other psychiatric and mental health-related problems.

About Angeli

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.

Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
