About Valerie
Valerie believes anyone can benefit from treatment. She believes all mental health issues center around difficult emotions and working on identifying healthy ways to cope, as well as developing skills to improve one’s life. Valerie’s goal is to help clients work on bettering themselves. During sessions with Valerie, clients can expect their emotions to always be validated by an impartial, supportive therapeutic partner. She has been certified in anger management and takes a special interest in trauma treatment.
Valerie treats clients ages 13 to 65 and those experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, insomnia, stress, trauma, women’s issues, control disorders, mood disorders, and more. Valerie pulls from a diverse body of knowledge when creating treatment plans. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and more.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music.
