About Shanet
Shanet is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a skill set in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, grief, and codependency. She offers nuanced trauma-informed care and warm attunement. While playing an active role in therapy, she cultivates a gentle, interactive, and validating environment.
Shanet has provided care in hospital, college, and telehealth settings. She integrates neuroscience, the polyvagal theory, and a trusting therapeutic relationship to help clients navigate fear, shame, stuck points, and a chronic state of fight or flight. She guides her clients in deepening their self-awareness, cultivating authentic values, and shifting inner narratives to improve their well-being.
Shanet intertwines CBT, solution-focused strategies, mind-body approaches, and attachment-based tools. When appropriate, she utilizes psychoeducation, worksheets, and out-of-session activities to help clients develop new coping strategies. She currently works with patients of ages 18-65. She is also passionate about addressing life transitions, self-esteem challenges, stress, family-of-origin difficulties, relationship issues, divorce, infidelity, women’s issues, and identity conflicts. In her free time, Shanet enjoys learning new skills and being in nature.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
