About Micah
Micah B. Moskoff is a licensed clinical social worker. Micah’s therapy style is warm and interactive. She believes in treating every patient with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and she doesn’t believe in stigmatizing labels. She aims to connect on a personal level with each patient to help them feel supportive and safe. Micah has experience working with individuals coping with anxiety, depression, loneliness, low self-esteem, career difficulties, and finding their life purpose. She combines motivational interviewing and client-centered therapy techniques to tailor in-session dialogue and treatment plans to each patient’s needs. Micah has been providing therapy since 2022 and works with patients ages 18 and up. In her spare time, Micah loves traveling, hiking, and hanging out with Shasta, her beautiful (and bratty) dog. She has visited 25 countries (and counting) and has tried skydiving and bungee jumping. She grew up in Massachusetts, lived in Washington, DC for a time, and now resides in South Carolina. Micah enjoys working with SohoMD because of the opportunity it provides her to work one-on-one with individuals as they work through personal struggles. She also appreciates the emphasis on work-life balance.
