About Lindsay

Lindsay Mulaj is a licensed clinical social worker. Lindsay treats each patient with compassion and empathy. She empowers her patients to make positive changes and heal. Patients can rely on her to be nonjudgmental, and unbiased, and to provide an environment that promotes trust, tranquility, and teamwork. Lindsay understands that her patients are experiencing stress and emotional challenges, either acutely or chronically. She helps them by utilizing behavioral approaches that challenge the patient’s thought processes, judgments, and patterns of behavior. Her ultimate goal is to motivate her patients to attain their goals, heal wounds, and lead healthy, independent lives by becoming their own change agents. Lindsay has been providing therapy since 2007 and treats a wide range of patients ages. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive therapy, and motivational interviewing. Lindsay specializes in treating children with disabilities, in foster care, and those involved in the juvenile justice system. She also helps families navigate challenges related to school, community, medical concerns, grief and loss, and adjustment to new settings or family dynamics. She also has experience treating a wide range of diagnoses. In her spare time, Lindsay loves playing with her dog and son, traveling the world, hiking, photography, cooking, and skiing. Her first concert was the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Rolling Stones when she was in the 7th grade. Lindsay enjoys working with SohoMD because it provides a platform for therapists to build their practice while providing clinical support and growth opportunities through supervision and training.
