About Dr. Atkinson
Jill Atkinson is a clinical psychologist. Jill treats adolescents and adults. She believes a patient’s voice and choice should be at the center of all treatment. Her approach is based on listening to every patient’s needs so she can help them achieve their goals. Jill sees her job as helping her patients find healthy ways to deal with life’s stresses and difficulties so they can free themselves from suffering. We all deserve to be happy and healthy, and her goal is to help her patients find happiness. Jill has been providing therapy since 1994 and treats patients ages 12-65. She uses a blend of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, EMDR, and trauma-informed techniques to meet patient needs. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, couples therapy, and more. In her spare time, Jill loves to hike, rock climb, ice climb, and backpack. She loves photography, nature writing, and reading. She has 3 goats, 20 chickens, and 3 dogs. Jill enjoys working with SohoMD because of the organization’s stability.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
