Giang’s (Mimi’s) is a licensed clinical social worker. Her therapeutic style is supportive and collaborative with a strength-based approach. She has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and symptoms of trauma history. Her therapeutic modalities include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Mindfulness skills, Solution-Focused, and Family Systems Theory.
Giang’s (Mimi’s) goal as a therapist is to ensure a safe and supportive space for individuals to find hope for personal healing and growth. She believes that working from a holistic approach would best benefit the individuals to reach their goals. Giang (Mimi) enjoys working with those going through life’s transitions (divorce, new marriage, new family, college, and career) and symptoms of trauma. Giang (Mimi) has had an abundance of experiences working in New York and Connecticut through a variety of settings such as supportive housing, community mental health clinic, home-based, and private practice. Through the years she has worked with adolescence, adults, and families of diverse cultural backgrounds. About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music.
