About Dena
Dena engages with her clients to help them find a sense of empowerment. By validating her clients’ emotions and helping them feel heard, Dena helps her clients identify what’s keeping them stuck and what changes they need to make to see healing in their lives.
Dena treats clients ages 18 to 65 and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. She also treats those experiencing life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, vocational counseling, school issues, divorce, dual diagnosis, PTSD, women's issues, and mood disorders. She has experience working with clients managing co-occurring disorders. Dena helps her clients explore avenues for healing. It all begins with reaching out to start the conversation. She then uses a combination of motivational interviewing, unconditional positive regard, empathy, validation, solution-focused therapy, strength-based therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
