About Christina

Christina helps her clients break down their concerns into smaller parts, so they feel less overwhelmed. Together, they formulate treatment goals to address those concerns by developing life and coping skills. Her goal is to inspire her clients to find their inner joy.

Christina works with clients ages 12 to 65. She is experienced in helping clients navigate family issues, disabilities, and LGBTQ+ issues. She also treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem issues, sleep disorders, stress, divorce, infidelity, men’s and women’s issues, trauma, PTSD, impulse and control disorders, mood disorders, and chronic illnesses. She uses a strength-based, trauma-focused, culturally sensitive, humanistic approach that incorporates art therapy, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, and positive psychology.

About Angeli

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.

Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
