About Cheryl
Cheryl’s clients include adolescents and adults experiencing issues related to trauma, stress, adjustment, depression, anxiety, co-occurring diagnoses, ADHD, sleep, bereavement, anger, self-esteem, parent-teen relational problems, and intimate partner distress. To create a safe space, Cheryl adheres to person-centered core values and attitudes including unconditional positive regard for the client, and a multicultural/LGBTQ+ affirmative approach to counseling. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional-II, Cheryl is particularly attuned to providing trauma-informed care for clients. Cheryl uses integrative treatment modalities adapted to the client's goals, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and EMDR. Has experience with intensive outpatient, and clinic levels of care, Cheryl also incorporates psychoeducation, behavioral approaches, mindfulness, and other relapse prevention strategies. Drawing upon additional training in culturally competent school counseling and experience as a private college admissions counselor, Cheryl understands the social, emotional, academic, college, and career challenges during adolescence and young adulthood.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music.
