About Cara
Cara believes that strong therapeutic relationships are rooted in acceptance and compassion. Through genuine curiosity, emotional awareness, and a collaborative approach, Cara helps her clients find solutions that align with their truest values and desires. Cara teaches her clients practical skills they can use right away. She often supplements in-session work with readings, handouts, and books.
Cara works with ages 17 to 65 and treats ADHD, personal growth, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, life transitions, peer relationships, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem issues, stress, divorce, dual diagnoses, women’s issues, and mood disorders. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy-informed approaches, person-centered therapy, humanistic therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, and strengths-based techniques. She has a multicultural, trauma-informed perspective.

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music.
