About Cara
Life throughout the past two years has been full of change and uncertainty. Routines have changed and you may find yourself struggling to build motivation. People have been lost to the pandemic and in efforts to relocate out of the city and you may find yourself feeling isolated. You may find yourself grieving people, places, opportunities, and the way life used to be. For many, challenging life events have been exacerbated by the many changes brought forth by the pandemic. Whether you want to focus on improving symptoms of anxiety and depression, relationship skills, personal growth, or are just feeling stuck, Cara’s goal is to provide an ear to listen while you lay out your concerns and come up with a collaborative plan to address your needs, one by one. Together you will come up with solutions using a strengths-based approach that incorporates both CBT and DBT informed care. Cara looks forward to hearing and addressing your needs and coming up with tools and strategies that will help you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel and start to feel better.
