About Candice
As a Mexican-American woman coming from a working-class family, Candice has experienced firsthand the difficulties and struggles stemming from classism, racism, colorism, and misogyny. These experiences make her uniquely equipped to support clients going through similar struggles. Candice seeks to build strong therapeutic alliances with her clients, aiding them in healing through connection.
Candice works with ages 18 to 65 treating depression, grief, peer relationships, intimate relationship issues, self-esteem problems, stress, trauma, PTSD, and mood disorders. Thanks to her background in sociology and integrative trauma certification, Candice can help her clients fully understand how trauma has affected their lives in pursuit of healing. Her approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, somatic experiencing, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and EMDR. She operates through a decolonizing lens, particularly with clients of color.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
