About Beatrice

Beatrice received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples and has extensive experience in Employee Assistance Program (EAP) work, dealing with issues around occupational stress and job jeopardy. Beatrice’s work has focused on helping clients with a range of issues, such as trauma, grief therapy, depression, anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal conflicts, and anger management. She tailors therapy to best meet her client’s needs. With over 15 years of experience, Beatrice has utilized a variety of therapeutic techniques, honing her skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Beatrice provides clients with the tools needed to cultivate change and personal growth through developing awareness.

About Angeli

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.

Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
